After Chapter Literary Salon.

What happens after the final page?

What does a story uncover in us that continues long after we’ve put the book down?

Read for real.

After Chapter is a new monthly literary salon at Aethos London, hosted by writer, cultural commentator and author Kelechi Okafor.

Created as a space for critical thought, curiosity and genuine exchange, After Chapter takes literature beyond the usual book-club conversation. Each gathering begins with a book, but moves through the questions it raises about who we are: identity, culture, politics, relationships, memory, power, imagination and the ways we make sense of the world around us.

Think less traditional book club, more contemporary literary salon: intimate, warm, intellectually curious and unafraid of a good disagreement.

Come for the book. Stay for what it opens up.
